THE FOODBORNE DISEASES ACTIVE SURVEILLANCE NETWORK

The Foodborne Diseases Active Surveillance Network is the principal foodborne disease component of Center for Disease and Prevention's Emerging Infections Program in collaboration with U.S. Department of Agriculture and Food and Drug Administration. The project consists of active surveillance for foodborne diseases and related epidemiologic studies designed to help public health officials better understand the epidemioly of foodborne diseases in the United States.
